Student Recipe Zines

A collaborative project, with illustrator Catherine Horner, aiming to create a series of student recipe zines that would be made available, free of charge, for Leeds Arts University students.Through the use of distorted type, punny titles and textured illustrations, the zines feel very informal and approachable, much less daunting than the more sleek recipe books out there.The use of different coloured paper for each zine allows them to stand out more as indivuduals, whilst the continued use of red ink throughout them all creates a sense of coherency.
